Metropolis Updates

The latest event in the Metropolis "Coping with Coronavirus" series features a conversation between Metropolitan Nathanael and Dr. Randa Anderson on coping with stress and anxiety during this time of social distancing.

Fr. John Chryssavgis joins Metropolitan Nathanael to discuss St. John Climacus and his great spiritual work, The Ladder of Divine Ascent, which the Orthodox Church commemorates on the Fourth Sunday of Lent.

Youth & Young Adults

Fanari Camp Prayer Services

Every Wednesday at 3 PM, youth are invited to Fanari Prayer Service via Instagram and Facebook Live. We will also be taking names to pray for so if you would like to submit names, please go to our Instagram Story to input the names of people you’d like prayed for. Please join us in praying for the safety of our community and the entire world. Spread the word for this special service. Stay safe.


"Feeding the Hungry"

Philoptochos is participating in the National Philoptochos initiative committed to serve 1,500,000 meals nationwide by the National Clergy Laity in July 2020. Our Philoptochos served over 27,000 meals between July 2016 and June 2018. You can help  this cause by filling the container in the Narthex. It costs $2 for a sack lunch.  To become a part of this OUTREACH PROGRAM, or donate product, please contact Vicki Karagianis at 773-327-3194 or Vonnie Karafotias at vonnie@karafotias.comLet's help those in need!

St. Andrew's Food Pantry

Please help us restock our food pantry with non-perishable items. It is helpful if the canned goods have a flip-top lid. Monetary donations will also be accepted
